You can stop sugar cravings by improving your diet. What is a sugar craving? Well, some might think it has something to do with a hormonal imbalance.
If you need to sleep because of lack of sugar see your doctor. If you need to sleep because you ate sugar see your doctor. You might have an imbalance in your body. If you can see a dietitian or nutrition expert it would be better than seeing a regular doctor.
The awful truth about our health system is that almost all doctors obtain little nutrition training. This is a very complicated study. But if our health care industry would focus on nutrition many diseases could be prevented. But it is still a very neglected area of medicine.
In our medical system we wait for the disorder to happen and then we take pills to help mediate the symptoms. If you do have sugar cravings that are interfering with your life then see your doctor to make sure there is not a serious disorder already taking place. However, if you want to keep sugar cravings from getting to that life affecting state you can start eating better, healthier, and even more enjoyable meals.
If you wan to know what is really killing people off then go to your local super market. Go to the desserts section. Pick up some company made desserts and read off the label ingredients. See if you can remember how to spell some of the names of the chemicals. Try to even pronounce them. It is funny to do this but then realize this is what you are eating when you bite into these store bought products.
You see it is not the sugar cravings that is doing you in. It is all the man made ingredients. And here is a shock… Shortening is man made. It kind of sounds like home made. Shortening sounds like something grandma would use. Well she would use it if she wanted to use an oil that was originally produced to keep machine parts lubricated.
It was first manufactured to be used to lubricate machinery. But some enterprising guy thought about making pastry dough with it. You can imagine what it does to your insides if it is made to keep machines running smoothly. So take this advice make your own home made desserts if you need sugar during the day.
Listen it is not the sugar that might be hurting you. It is all the man made ingredients that you consume when you eat store bought desserts. And of course the shortening is not helping either. Do this. Make your own desserts. Use regular sugar and use real butter. The media has made butter the bad guy but it is not. Do not use shortening in your home made desserts and you just might say goodbye to your sugar cravings for good. You see the store bought desserts do not satisfy. They only make you want more of the same stuff. Beat the system make your own.
