Tuning Club

A few nights ago a couple of friends called me up. Last minute thing. They’d gotten a couple of tickets to this show at a club. We didn’t even know what kind of show it was going to be. Since we had nothing to do, we went, not really expecting anything. What we saw completely blew us away. And then some. This guy we saw was the most skilled magician I’ve ever seen.

Here is a great card trick that is based largely in misdirection. It requires a little bit of set up, but with only a few minutes practice you should be able to effectively perform this successfully in front of any audience. This is a big hit with kids, as it doesn’t require any special sleight of hand moves, and it’s pretty simple once you figure it out.

This is a great up close and impromptu magic trick that is quick and easy to learn, yet will always amaze your friends. You can do this trick by itself, or as an introduction to some other tricks. It’s a good idea do this with a couple other simple card tricks, as you need a cheap deck of cards as the main prop. You wouldn’t want anybody accusing you of being a one-trick wonder, would you?
