If you ever walked into a bar and wished you could snap your fingers and command the attention, respect, and admiration of the room, then look no further. Here you have found gold. The quickest and easiest way to seduce a room full of strangers into your rabid fans is through the application of two simple skills. One is magic. Magic has enthralled people for thousands of years, and can be easier to learn and apply than you think.

If you think that you need to practice in front of a mirror for hours on end to perfect your skills, think again. Most tricks can be learned in under an hour, most even less. Most people are so easily mesmerized that you need not spend much time perfecting your technique.

The first step, of course, is to learn a few simple magic tricks that you can pick up in pretty much any magic book or guide. A few card tricks, some coin tricks, and some skills in reading people and body language in order to project the idea that you are psychic. These are based on nothing more than basic human behavior.

The next step is to sharpen your public speaking skills. This is required because you need to develop a story to tell while you are performing your magic. If you just stand there and do card tricks, people will get bored pretty quickly. As long as you are talking and reading the crowd, they’ll be eating out of the palm of your hand.

Something that really helps in this regard is practicing some public speaking. Toastmasters is perfect for this. It’s free, and they are very helpful to folks working on improving themselves. You need not let people know you are developing a magical patter.

So by combining just a few simple skills, that you can learn on your own, and learn in a group setting, you can create a powerful combination that when used to deliver magic to the public will generate a significant amount of desire for you among strangers. Few people take this path, but those that do know how powerful the reaction is.
